It has been a crazy week for Sheridan&Co. Arguably they are all, but this week the team has been installing a Kat Von D Beauty site in Belfast and Cork, alongside their fanstastic team. From early morning starts, to heavy lifting and climbing ladders, the fitting team had long days with very little sleep. Yet our aim is was to deliver the most beautifully designed and manufactured site.

As a company, we place great value on teamwork. It is what drives us to push each other to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients and also for us as a team. As such, it was teamwork and hard work enabled the installation of the two Kat Von D sites to come to fruition.

We have all read articles on Forbes and Entrepreneur that explores what defines great leadership. We have watched Ted talks about what determines brilliance in terms of company culture.

With our fitting team in Ireland was our CEO, Jules Sheridan. She was up with them at the early hours. She was there helping with the building of the site and regardless of the task, she was involved at every step of the way. She too, was with them in the evenings having well earned drinks. Like the rest of the team, she only had approximately 6 hours sleep over the course of three days.

We enjoy a company culture whereby everyone’s contribution is respected and valued. Yet, a company culture is created by the attitude of the leader. For Sheridan&Co, a great attitude is a little thing that makes a huge difference. The attitude demonstrated by Jules throughout the week has inspired the rest of us.

We have an internal page where we share photos and ideas with each other. Throughout the week, the team in Ireland shared their photos of their work. A photo of Jules Sheridan arm in arm with Wayne Green following a long and unrelenting day particularly resonated with us.

Whilst there are many great traits that a leader carries, one word that is poignant is integrity. For Jules, no task is too big or too small. All of us at Sheridan&Co are treated with mutual respect and value, irrespective of position, seniority or role.

And whilst every Friday she takes the time out to write a newsletter to wish us all a happy and restful weekend, we want to take this opportunity to say thank you.
