Linda Farrow is a British sunglasses brand established in 1970, whose ethos and passion lies in innovation.

Sheridan&Co developed an international retail strategy for their global expansion, with a particular focus on the LA customer and demographic.

Sheridan&Co then produced 3 retail concepts based on this global retail strategy, resulting in a look and feel that matches the innovative, contemporary and luxurious nature of the products themselves.

Discovery

Gaining an understanding of Linda Farrow and their diverse consumers was crucial in creating a concept that would resonate and appeal. Their discerning shopper is used to luxury, and attuned to the creative world.

Direction

"Glorify the product. Make it as unique as the wearer. Let it sing.

We wanted to bring clarity and refinement to the merchandising of Linda Farrow sunglasses. By easing the navigation process, the consumer would appreciate the value and beauty of the sunglasses, whilst quickly narrowing down the voice to make their selection.

Retail Design

The design solution needed to exude luxury but in an elegant and modern way. It had to, in many senses, echo and extend the aesthetics of Linda Farrow’s eyewear to create an immersive brand experience.

Three initial concepts were created. Through a process of refinement, the final concept was developed with the iconic gold caging and marble centrepiece.

Concept Management

Whilst the first concept was created for the LA store, the retail identity has gone through numerous phases of Concept Management, instilling it into a new location but always retaining the iconic aesthetic.

The concept has now gone in all over the world, including Paris, Milan, Mykonos and London.

Manufacture

While the interiors’ colour palette is neutral, the play on different material textures – from stone and marbling effect to brushed metallic – amplifies light and space, allowing the eyewear displays to take centre stage.
